Hi we are Tony and Nelly, and this is our story.........

Someone once said “I have a dream” and this applied to us! We both wanted to have a business where we could combine work and leisure in a nice area of Europe.
The dream was about to become a reality and we believed that a gite or b&b complex in France was the answer!.
We had both visited France over the years and when we met a few years ago we found that we shared this same dream so what could we do to realise it?.

As Nelly is from Belgium and Tony from England it made sense to select an area where we could easily keep in contact with our families so we drew a circle around an area of France.
The circle was determined by this factor and other points such as -  proximity to airports and ferry ports, near the coast, climate, attractions, pretty countryside, history etc.
It seemed that the perfect area for us was The Vendee as it satisfied all the above criteria so the next thing we knew we were on the plane to Nantes!.

As soon as we arrived in the lovely town of Challans in June 2005 we knew we had picked the right area, and in no time we explored the wonderful beaches, islands, towns, local marshlands, pine forests.
The second house we looked at in the local estate agent appeared to have what we were looking for and as soon as we came up the drive we knew we had found exactly what we had dreamed about. It was a big renovation project but the potential was easy to see and by then we had decided we wanted to have, if possible, both gites and b&b rooms.
We bought a mobile home, placed it on site, and we were ready to tackle the huge project!.

Two years later in June 2007 everything was done so we opened for business and welcomed our first guests. Throughout the season we enjoyed a really great time looking after our clients and they were delighted with our place. So we have realised our dream so why not come and visit us and take a little taste of the wonderful area!
